Positive: The property itself is fantastic located above the skyline of any buildings in your view it is well equipped, comfortable and spacious - probably has the only soft mattress in Bali too which as a UK native was absolutely sublime! To access the property you are told to meet at an alternative Google map pinpoint and from there driven up to the property by 4x4 jeep as the track up to the villa is very steep and rough enough to make most taxis drivers wince, as someone who is trepidatious at the best of times you can bet I was a bit confused but trust me it is all completely safe! The villa has beautiful vistas to view from your private terrace, picture window or jacuzzi so no matter where you like to lounge you always have something to look at! We booked at very short notice and only for two nights as a romantic getaway for me and my partner and the staff could not have been more accommodating, always offering to help us with our baggage, any travel arrangements we may need or questions and logistics of getting around (more than happy to take us up and down the track in and out of the villa - zero stress) We also booked a tour guide service with the owner’s uncle, Nyoman, he was a wonderfully friendly and polite chap who took us up mount batur on Christmas Eve to watch the sunrise, not at all pushy or overbearing, just every pleasant to be part of the experience with! The team at Jungle Sunrise absolutely made our trip to Bali that much more wonderful and unforgettable- thank you ❤️

Negative: The jacuzzi is currently being converted to use natural geothermal heat rather than what I assume would be diesel or natural gas boiler and it would have been nice to know that ahead of time but I can’t mark anything down for this as the place was so wonderful and having a cold plunge after a long day was also lovely!
