Positive: The wooden house is modern and exactly as depicted in the pictures. Ketut and his family are amazing hosts. Sidemen is a beautiful and calm area, from which you can start great day trips, e.g. to Mount Batur, Virgin Beach, Tirta Gangga, or Pura Besakih.

Negative: Keep in mind that the restaurant scene in Sidemen is fairly limited; there are only a few non-Indonesian options.
