Summary: Cozy cabin in the woods, our dog didn’t want to leave. The bed was a double but we slept better in it than we did with some queen beds. The cabin can get warm for summer but we were able to create a good cross breeze by opening both windows and using the fan provided. It is a beautiful glamping experience. The compost toilet was the biggest adjustment for us. The ferry nearby can be a little noisy if sitting outside but hardly ever noticed it in the cabin. Unfortunately the trails and sauna were closed during our stay because of a province wide closure to prevent fires, so something to be aware of when planning timing of a trip (we were August). Sally’s was great about communicating this and we recognize it was a provincial mandate. This is a great spot if you want to feel like you are in nature but have something a step up from a tent. After we finished our Wast Coast trip we agreed Sally’s was one of the locations we would happily go back to stay.
