Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: They were friendly and polite and very attentive. They even brought me dinner to my room where there is a little area you can sit outside and eat. Breakfast was included in the price, I had a lovely banana pancake and coffee. When I stayed it was just 75,000 rp for the night in a private room to myself so the value for money was amazing. They have just opened so are finding their feet in how to run the homestay but have a tour company for rinjani already.

Negative: The only bad thing was getting there. The location on booking.com when put in google maps is not right at all, it’s actually a 5 minute drive up the steep road from this location. I was lucky my friend went past who is Indonesian so he could call for me to speak to them. He said the person he called with the number on booking was a construction worker not the owners but he sent him the gps coordinates so I could get there, locals had not heard of the homestay when I asked around because it’s brand new. However, I spoke to them to explain this situation so hopefully they will amend this on the app and it shouldn’t be a problem for anyone else :)

Summary: Great value for money. Lovely people.
