Tucked off the main street, this lovely 4 Bedroom, 3 Bath home is walking distance to all village amenities: Dorset Union Store, the Dorset Exchange, Dorset Inn, Barrows House Inn, Dorset Library, Historical Society, Dorset Field Club, the Three Pears Gallery, and the Dorset Playhouse. This is a very special Dorset Village Hide-a-Way!
The space
Our warm and inviting home is located on a private lane in the heart of historic Dorset. With ample private parking, one can walk to everything and never have to leave the home! The mountain view is breathtaking and offers peace and tranquility. The flow of the home is perfect for a couple or family.

We ask our guests to respect the peacefulness of our neighborhood and that of our neighbors. We take great pride in our home and hope our guests will do the same.

Brian and Don's place was exactly as advertised! Quiet, calm, peaceful and located right by some fantastic local restaurants.
The actual home was spacious, comfortable and had just the right mix of modernity and old school charm / warmth.
I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a great place to have a relaxing weekend away from all the hustle and bustle of a big city.
My stay at the Bumblinn cottage was wonderful. The home itself was cozy and clean with everything we needed for our stay. The location was something out of a story book, absolutely enchanting! Brian and Don left a binder full of information on activities and shopping...very helpful. Will most definitely be visiting again!

We had an absolutely amazing stay and Brian and Don’s “Bumblinn”! Their home is beyond lovely and in the perfect location, steps away from the towns center, the Dorset bakery, and amazing restaurants. Brian and Don were so accommodating and kind. We can’t wait for our next stay!
Brian and Don’s Bumblinn is incredible. Immaculate, well equipped. Even stocked with food to create a dinner. Walking distance to local attractions. Easy check in. My husband, another couple, and our two dogs spent the weekend at Brian and Dons place. I am used to staying in Manchester for our annual foliage weekend, but i must day I will now stay in Dorset. We absolutely loved the local places - the Dorset Inn for dinner, multiple trips to H N Williams, the Union Store and the Bakery, which were all within walking distance of the house (not to mention downtown manchester is <10 mins away!). The house was the perfect cozy spot we were looking for. It was clean and comfortable, plenty of room to sleep, a backyard for the pups etc. Brian was super communicative with details and recommendations up well in advance and through the trip. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend, we will be back!
