Our house is a cozy, tranquil, getaway with a picturesque view of Saratoga passage and Mount Baker. Your blood pressure will soon drop as you sit on the deck, listen to the waves and the sea birds, while taking in the water view! We also frequently see deer in the yard. Our place is very quiet with a Northwest woodsy feel.
It is centrally located on Whidbey, providing an ideal base to explore all the island's activities and attractions. Whidbey is a big island with much to offer. Explore Deception Pass, Fort Casey, shop & dine in the quaint towns of Coupeville, Langley, visit the galleries, the farms, parks and numerous beaches all within minutes. Come back to your retreat and relax in comfort with nature. If you don't feel like getting in the car, the beach below is a five minute walk down the road. You can launch a kayak, paddleboard, or walk miles on this quiet beach. Or just stay inside, take in the view and watch premium channel TV on the 42' flat screen TV.
It has begun as a vacation rental in August 2014. We have replaced old beds with a king bed in the master and a queen bed in the second bedroom.
