Secluded property located atop a hill in the woods, under a mile from Ogunquit or Footbridge Beaches, and a few minutes walk from downtown Ogunquit. It is large, spacious, recently renovated, with a full kitchen downstairs and kitchenette (refrigerator, oven/stovetop, microwave, sink) upstairs, a full laundry room, 2 living areas and 2 dining rooms, making it easy to accommodate 2 or 3 families. The driveway is large with ample parking for 3-4 cars. There are 2 bedrooms with queen beds (1 downstairs, 1 upstairs), a downstairs room with a full bed that can cozily sleep 2, and 2 rooms with bunks (1 room with 4 twin bunks upstairs, and 1 with a full/twin bunk downstairs), so the property will comfortably sleep 12 or 13 depending on ages of children. We also have a sleeper sofa and futon sofa in common areas for any spillover, plus a cot and pack and play for smaller extras.
There is air conditioning in common areas on both floors. There are floor fans in all of the rooms and ceiling fans in non-bunk bedrooms and upstairs main room. Sheets and towels may be supplied by renters or by owners, the latter at slightly additional cost for laundering. There is a good cable package with movies, DVR, and free WiFi, and HDTVs and DVD players in upstairs and downstairs main areas. Downstairs has a turntable and there is an assortment of record albums. Windows are screened and equipped with wood blinds to control airflow and heat/sun. There are outdoor decks off of both down and upstairs living rooms, and an outdoor charcoal grill on the large downstairs deck. An outdoor shower makes cleaning up after beachtime convenient. There’s also ample yard space for playing without street proximity, although the auto traffic is very low since the property is well-secluded. The home is on well water (which is delicious), with an alkaline filtered jug that can be used for those who prefer a higher pH. We are on a septic system. There is twice-weekly trash pick up. Housekeeping (except laundry) is included before and after stays.
